Sinking
A fresh southerly breeze was blowing when the Raven left Fremantle en route to Bunbury via the South Passage. The vessel ran aground near Dyer Island. The crew took to the lifeboats and were later rescued.
Underwater
Partly buried on a sand and weed bottom and lying in 6 metres of water, what remains of the Raven is hard to distinguish from the surrounding reef.
